Very fruity and highly interesting. Got from Steph and Derek as gift. Really enjoyed it — 9 years ago
@Derek Hearst I had this on Tuesday. It was soft and very accessible. Probably a product of the vintage... — 9 years ago
Dark cherries, blueberry, woods pice and vanilla. Super smooth tannins with a taste that lasts and lasts. Derek Barnett makes the best wine in Ontario. — 10 years ago

Rich & lush; hitting on all cylinders. I just can't seem to keep from drinking this fine wine. At this rate of consumption, long term cellaring may not happen. Great night with Liz, Derek, & Clara. — 9 years ago
Simple straight forward. Easy drinking, perfect wine to sip while I cry softly as derek Morgan leaves the BAU. — 9 years ago
My first Bo Derek. Thanks you so much @Todd Abrams for this one. Very special. — 9 years ago
New world Pinot as it should be. Intensely flavored with fresh, ripe fruit rather than oak. Sharp acid and medium body, with a long finish of that same fruit. Thanks @Derek Haas — 9 years ago
What a wonderful Chardonnay. Not overly buttery or oakey. Light fruit but full body. I would drink this over and over. Thanks Purple Wine Company and Derek for delivering great wine. — 10 years ago
Beautiful Bordeaux from Medoc. Serious lead Pencil dark fruit finish. Thanks to Derek for this Sunday night treat!!!! — 10 years ago
Drank with Derek and Stacey 3/14/15. Fantastic. A little bit of oak. Derek says "floral toast" and he's right. — 10 years ago

@Derek Hearst These do in fact age impeccably well! This was the star of the show amongst a dozen top flight wines a few weeks ago for lunch. — 9 years ago
Worked 70 hours this week and this is a hell of a Pinot Noir on which to rest my laurels. In reading the reviews, I noticed Derek Hearst thought it suffered from heavy acid, clearly he forgot to properly prepare the wine as a real sommelier would do. Let the wine open up: fruity, dark berries, noticeable absence of tart, medium acidity, tannins - not over the top, rather the mouthfeel continues to remind you of the beautiful Willamette grapes you're currently enjoying. Pair with Black Rhino horn, Minecraft, and dead babies. — 9 years ago
Delectable can't even locate this wine. Only 47 cases made. So smooth with a perfect nose and finish. Great wine for our anniversary. — 10 years ago

My overall favorite of the night. Amazing nose of wildflowers, perfume, and baking spices. Bold but balanced palate with dark blue fruits and a finish that just approached sweet. The Derek Jeter of wine. Incredible! — 8 years ago
