2000 Montee Tonnerre. Rich beeswax on nose and palate. Long finish but lighter and less depth than the 2002 — 11 years ago
Great depth of flavor. The fruit is strong but not loud. Still tastes young at 8 yrs. perfect acid balance to fruit. — 12 years ago

Great bottle of Cab for Pam's 28th bday. Alex Valley is always one of my faves. Lots of depth and great with some steaks. Well balanced - 08 vintage — 11 years ago
Starts out lemon fruit and paraffin, moves to mango/guava as it warms up. Slightly sweet - oak/RS? Nice depth and persistent acid. Not a lot of perceptible oak except on the initial pour. — 14 years ago

2001 vintage. Quite fresh and youthful despite the age. Honey and nuts, apricots and cream. On the palate, medium plus acidity and medium alcohol, medium body. Great depth to this wine. Still has a good decade ahead of it. No oxidation whatsoever on this bottle. A truly great example of hermitage Blanc. — 11 years ago
