Vintage 2017 / what grape is this made of? I asked my wife. She knows me. And said: probably a curious one. Wrong. It is made of Clairette, Chardonnay, Sauvignon gris, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Aligoté. Six grapes and the vigneron made ‘elegance’ with them. Great. Very quaffable. — 7 years ago

2014 does it again, massive mineral potential, brilliant acidity, exquisite balance, equal of any Pico/Piuze/De Moor. — 9 years ago

Really impressive! Intensity. Density. Length. Yum. — 11 years ago
2009 Malbec, Garnacha Tintoreta, Syrah, Graciano, and Cab Franc. Purple black, a nose like raspberry infused cedar, smoked grape leaves, a weird whiff of absinthe-rinsed blackberry, smooth, though leaves you wearing a tannin mouthpiece. Clove, cinnamon, turmeric, oolong and burnt toast. Subterranean sludge covered moor rocks!! Tones down to allow plum and vanilla. — 11 years ago

Apple and stone with a little unobtrusive oak and good acidity and drinking it with food brings out more nuance, it reminds me a bit of De Moor Bourgogne-Chitry. One of the best values I’ve had in years. — 6 years ago
