Hollis and I loved this. Smooth, easy to drink. — 6 years ago
Great value and wonderful body . Some spice with dark berries. Will try to get more for just to have on a nice night on the deck — 7 years ago
This is actually a Merlot, not a Pinot Grigrio. Great every day wine. Full flavored and very smooth. We have also enjoyed the Cabernet from the Dark Horse winemaker. — 7 years ago
Full body with dark berries and spice flavor and a long finish. — 9 years ago

Pontet Canet tasting and dinner with Alfred Tesseron.
The 96 is a nice surprise add from Clyde’s cellar. Thank you Clyde.
This 96 is beautifully floral. The evolution is right around its peak. The body is medium full and the tannins soft. It’s an elegant beauty.
The fruits are ripe and delicious. Leaner blackberries, black raspberries, dark cherries, strawberries and shades of raspberries. Soft earth; dry top soil, dry rock, limestone minerals, old tobacco, soft leather, cedar with dry and withering red & dark florals. The acidity is like a waterfall. The long finish is well balanced fruit & earth and in a sweet spot.

Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. A Blend of 90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark red with ripe berry fruit and pepper spice aromas. On the palate cherry and plum with smoke and floral notes. Rustic tannins, medium length ending on the spicy side. Will stand up to food well. Drink now. — 7 years ago
Dark rich fruit — 8 years ago
Pretty mild, dry — 9 years ago
Very surprising for a Washington Cab. Tannins are present but subdued. Green pepper and dark plum flavor. Long finish. Great wine from a great vintage. — 9 years ago
Yummy meritage. — 9 years ago
2008 vintage. This is lovely -- lots of dark fruit, sweet soft tannins, a little smoke. Drinking great now, and more enjoyable than in its youth... — 10 years ago
One of the best IPAs around, in my mind. — 10 years ago
Dark cherry and plum fruit with dark spices brown sugar and mocha like notes very concentrated and rich. Big and chewy with ripe round tannins very fruity but has a long finish echoing the nuance from the nose through the finish. Big but still balanced and fresh. Finish 45+ most excellent — 12 years ago
Light on flavor, but better than most trash, overpowering rosés — 7 years ago
Spicy, fruity, light but full — 8 years ago
Delicious jammy blend with excellent balance. Currants and deep fruit. My dad said he tasted "barnyard" flavors. Had with my family the night before Mother's Day! — 8 years ago
It’s a dark wine, inky. The nose is full of blackberry and spice, and to a lesser degree, earth and smoke. It smells, and tastes, a bit like Bordeaux - which I would guess they’d be pretty happy about in Washington State. In the sip there is dark fruit and plenty of it, but a savory aspect joins in for a really balanced approach. The tannins are capable enough to match up with tri tip, but they don't irritate if you just want to sip a good Malbec. A really good Malbec. — 9 years ago
Great all around red. Very dependable. — 9 years ago
Yes, it is dark, and it really benefits from a healthy dollop of water. #darkorigins #highlandpark #scotch #delectableapp #oldlinefinewine — 10 years ago
