Fabulous pinot noir to accompany our or of the ordinary surf and turf. Beautiful wine, on its own and with a meal. What a wonderful discovery! — 5 years ago
WoW what a good one ! Mineral and fruity nose at once : lemon, white flowers, a bit of crushed rocks with too. Superb. The palate is well balanced with a sheer acid backbone and some nice texture and grip all along. Lemon is there to play its part. Long finish with lemon and rocks. A sancerre that plays in the Chablis league ! Love it — 5 years ago
Great with smoked salmon — 8 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 9 years ago
First of Red Burg trio at Wallflower. Bigtime fruit with developing structure. This was my second favorite. — 10 years ago

Cranberry, blood orange. Soft. — 10 months ago
Interesting. Some age on it now and a lovely amber color. Rich and oxidative. Not where my tastes have evolved but really quite good. — 2 years ago
Mild smooth and dry — 5 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 5 years ago
Kath Lucas has a great pour. — 6 years ago
Incredibly fresh! Red fruit, slightly meaty and mineral. Such a crushable wine — 9 years ago
Bought this to be the "wine before the wine" bottle and while light and crispy (as you would expect) , it really holds its own as far as strength on the flavor profile. Highly recommendable Sancerre #sancerre #wine #whitewine #domaine #france — 9 years ago
Great wine! Paired with with my spicy Mediterranean fish! — 10 years ago
Columbia County 2.0: interesting drinking this day after a German Pinot, as I found them surprisingly related. A fave Beaujo producer’s Morgon, also a cooler tone & elegant. Blackberries & cassis, darker berries and a fine grittiness to integrated tannins. I like this drinking window (6 yrs) but imagine several if not more left. — a year ago

I was curious about longevity of this wine. Popped and poured and just delicious. — 4 years ago
Nose of dark fruits and tropical fruit, palate of dark fruits and lychee, with finish of herbs and pepper, off dry, short finish. — 5 years ago
So much richness and texture yet so drinkable. Phenolic and engaging. Subtleties abound, from white and orchard blossoms, citrus and stone fruits, beeswax, olive, radish, white pepper, tea leaves, stones. Approachable, elegant, yet cerebral enough to maintain conversation. — 6 years ago
Citrus and floral nose. Lime and orange citrus, zesty acidity, and mineral and drying flower petals. Love Pinot Rose. — 8 years ago
Done got stoned. Liquid powder, vibrant and alive. — 8 years ago
1990 vintage - stored always in the same cellar in optimal conditions, decanted before drinking - a great complex mysterious multiple layer aged Pinot, very earth and tertiary connected wine, with power and finesse in the same time - a great experience 😊 — 10 years ago
Formerly De Meric, beautiful stuff, great mag. — 11 years ago
