Zind Humbrecht at ProWein, I tasted the whole 2013 range available. Most had just been bottled and had a peculiar smell of spontaneous fermentation going slightly wrong to it which did dissipate eventually in the glass. This was one of my favourites:
Grapefruit and apple nose.
Green hazelnut, apple, apricot on the palate. Great length, mineral finish with apple, dried white flowers and dandelion flowers aftertaste. Too young. But great potential. — 8 years ago
Zibbibo to the face. Beautifully floral (honey, dandelion) and tremendously dry. Very similar profile to gewurztraminer, but a way better dogs' name. — 9 years ago
Started as a new, grey rubber assault. But blew off to a subdued floral honey. And cut, nearly dried grass. White peach poking its fuzzy head into the equation. Medium-heavy mouthfeel explodes with aromatics from peach and lemon-lime to grapefruit pith in a moment of acidic clarity that effervesces against sunflower, and dandelion and a sweet pistachio that dunks your head in its sensually charged unctuous-ness. Stony and Indian gum interplay with the pit fruit in an enduring ending. — 9 years ago

Candy, dandelion, and white pepper all delicately balanced on the nose. Low profile, but mouth filling. Ripe peach and mango, with chewy acidity and minerality. A crowd pleaser. — 7 years ago

Notes of dandelion, honeysuckle, lemon, jasmine, peach, nectarine and fennel on the nose. The palate is beautifully balanced with a crisp line of acidity, salinity, subtle notes of orange zest, dried pineapple and asian spices. Stunning. — 8 years ago

2012 don't drink a lot of white wine but when I do it may as well be this good. Wonderful nose lemon apple cut grass and dandelion perfect balance of fruit sweet and acidity lingers on the back palate for the perfect amount of time I see this again I will grab more — 9 years ago
