Scents of sweet lemon, white flowers, lemon zest. Full bodied on palate with a delicate honeyed nuance. Flavors of fresh lemons and lemon pits. The finish has a nice minerality to it and there is an herbal note to the finish as well. Well balanced, nothing overpowers anything else and though the wine is rich it remains light in its feet. Love it! — 13 years ago
Whenever I drink Blaufränkisch from Eisenberg, I often sense a bit of smoke on the nose. The Eisenberg DAC is small, 500 hectares. 12 months in small barrels. Fruit, minerals, sexy texture, richness is lifted by well-judged acidity. This wine is about tannin love! — 13 years ago
Thank you yoon, went thru 7 bottles, great wine! — 13 years ago

Cool stoned Veltliner. Lime Peppery Nose with a touch of grapefruit on the tongue. Vivid acidity typical for 2013 for this entry level Kamptal DAC from Austria. — 12 years ago
