This one comes from a certified sustainable farm, with blackberry and dried cranberry character, a bit sweet and fruity at the end which makes it perfect for drinking by itself, it won’t go wrong with a nice steak! — 6 years ago

As one can expect for a Dave Phinney wine, this is rich and ripe, but it has so much more to offer at year 14. Blueberry, fig, tobacco, cracked pepper, dried mushroom, and slight hint of barnyard. On the palate it’s juicy yet soft and ultra smooth. The finish is long, candied, and earthy.

Very nice and complete Cabernet from Argentina. I feel it rates 91+ for the color and deep red fruit flavors and long finish . Not California Cabernet with lower ABV but European style with complexity and soft tannins. Super deal at $15!!!! Drink in the near term for best enjoyment. — 7 years ago

Vino de la tierra de mi familia paterna, Voghera, Provincia de Pavia Italia. Tenía en frente mío un plato con pechuga de pollo a la parrilla, ensalada de lechuga y tomate, un tamalito verde que no dejaba de mirarme y arroz blanco, el Cavit se porto muy bien, con una textura suave, untuoso, se apreciaron los frutos negros, moras, cerezas, ligeramente herbaceo, equilibrado, de postre degustamos unas manzanas verdes con queso gouda moqueguano, excelente! — 8 years ago
