Cuvée Du Bois Laveau

Domaine les Grands Bois

Cuvée Marc Rasteau Grenache Blend 2011

A recco from the local liquor store. Beautiful eggplant purple, and jammy as Hell. Smoky, peppery and loads of black fruit. Must. Get. More. — 11 years ago

Cuvée St. Paul Arbois Trousseau

#1985 : très belle évolution digne d'un pinot racé : sous-bois, ailassé, soyeux, équilibré, frais. Bluffant. — 12 years ago

This "single barrel" Champagne is all organic Chard from the village of Trepail, fermented in a 3000 liter foudre. Exciting, driven and exotic, it went very well with cracked crab! — 12 years ago

Cuvée Maximilien Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne Red Rhone Blend 2007

Typical of the great 2007 vintage, A good CdR Village drinks like a CdP from a lesser year. — 12 years ago

Domaine Richaud

Cuvée l'Ebrescade Côtes du Rhône Villages Red Rhône Blend 2010

Very nice. Olive, mint, sous bois on the nose gives way to black cherry. A little Mourvèdre funk. Tart acidity and some dry tannins but everything is in balance. Better-crafted than other Cairannes that I've had. Not much meat, but you might start confusing this with a N. Rhone, as it feels cool. — 12 years ago

It turns out that David Leclapart grew those grapes in Trepail... Great wine!
