Joining the crowd but... who is Pierre-Yves-Colin-Morey and how does he make such good wine? — 9 years ago
Brambly red berry fruits. High acid and untamed, a wild expression of #pinotnoir #nzwine — 9 years ago
From magnum for a thanksgiving apero - full of vim and vigor though the fruit is a little lacking, reflective of the vintage. Nicely aged profile on the palate and a crowd pleaser without really firing. — 10 years ago
Light straw color. Floral nose with sweet apricot and white flower note. Rich and glycerol in the mouth. Some acidity but this is very fruit forward today. Needs to shed its baby fat. — 10 years ago
Its funky and fruity and delicious #theproperpour — 10 years ago
This is a crowd pleasing wine hands down. Full body, slightly sweet, great wine for price! — 11 years ago
Such a great "go to" wine. Crowd pleaser from the new wine drinker to the experienced Somm. Delish summer white! — 12 years ago
Light apple-ly deft touch — 8 years ago
Tasted in December 2014: Notes of vanilla, caramel, and creme brulee overlay complex apple, peach, and pear aromas. Hints of calcareous minerals. — 8 years ago
Sometimes you just need pizza and Barbaresco. It's like they were made for each other. This wine is an easy drinking, crowd pleasing, Italian gem. It almost feels like stepping back in time when you drink it. It was just made to enjoy. I see smiles in the narrow streets of Italy. — 9 years ago

Both 2007 and 2009 are crowd pleaders. 07 wins out. Maturity showing in its balanced round palette. Almost smokey, fruit forward. Drink and enjoy!

Crowd pleasing monster. We liked it — 11 years ago
I get green papaya or green pineapple on the nose. Lychee too. Dryer on the tongue than on the nose, I was surprised - pleasantly! Very easy to drink. I will buy this again. It'll stand alone or be good w/ food. Most white drinkers in a crowd would like this. — 11 years ago
Always a crowd pleaser. Wonderful fruit purity with a little spice. Well integrated and non intrusive tannins. — 11 years ago
Flower aroma. White flower and peach - lychee. Very special @, tatong, 180602 — 8 years ago
A very good beer that is extremely floral, appropriately. — 9 years ago
Perplexing as it is seductive. Bright citrus, tangerine, white flower attack. Rich mid palate of stewed peach, ripe banana and candied walnut. Oak grip has found its place incredibly well. Cinnamon spice evolves with slight clove and lingering peppermint. — 10 years ago

Best Morgon Lapierre I've had since the 2010. A real crowd pleaser for xmas time tables; balanced and fresh. In magnum. — 10 years ago
Hay/grass. Tiny bit of honey/white flower pollen. Touch of kiwi. Medium plus acidity, very little oak, lasting finish. — 11 years ago

Dark cherry and a dash of herbs, with a savory middle and finish, excellent concentration, and terrific with a duck breast with a beet sauce. — 7 years ago
