Quintessential Passito. Made with admirable respect to the tradition of making this particular wine. Its authenticity can be tasted in every drop, by recognizing its balanced yet complex flavor, without the aggressive (and artificial) sweetness of the many commercial labels that have flooded the market in the last couple of years. I know I work for Far Niente but this 2007 was spectacular!!! Some Christmas wine I kept in my cellar for the right meal. We had it with a plate of Crab Risotto. Nice Baked apple aromas and still some great acidity. — 9 years ago
