It’s always a little nerve-racking the first time you invite a date to a favorite restaurant. Is he going to like it as much as you like it? Probably not possible. But then you sit down to wait for him and order yourself a snack and end up chatting with the woman next to you for the 30 mins it takes him to show up and she whips out her OWN bottle of the best wine you’ve had in months, who cares how well the date goes. This wine is simultaneously supple and subtle, and holds its own in a current of too many fish. — 6 years ago

Medium dark color, luscious full body. Overripe fruit, earth, must on nose. Medium acid, very faint tannin, likely from stem and seed. Slight pepper finish on nose. Overall complex and awesome for the price — 9 years ago

A very tasteful intense rose. Has good peach notes. Easy to smell. Does hit you strong at first but then mellows out into a cool flavoring. It has a glass top (no corkscrew). — 8 years ago
Full and much more flavor than expected based on the price. — 8 years ago

Complex but refined pallate with similar to nose aromas, firm tannins and ripe & jammy dark fruit, violet, coffee finish. 89p 2011 - the only served at Noble dinner 2013. Upon recommendation from the wine ship guy, i opened this 2-3 hours before tasting, which was good, except for tge fact that it got too warm. I popped it back in the fridge for 20 minutes and then it was perfect. Very fruit forward and fresh with a nice structure despite its youth (2017 tasted in August 2019). All the guests loved it. — 5 years ago
