Smooth, light, floral, with a touch of honey. Paired perfectly with a hake and fish broth dish. — 2 years ago
Tried twice! From a warm vintage, medium lemon color with aromas of white fruits and wet stone aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe apple & peach, very complex, lively acidity. Long finish ending with mineral and sweet honey character, should age well, but great now! — 3 years ago
The best bottle of this vintage I’ve had. Was less wooly and I had no fears of it being too old. Gorgeous kinda toned down gewurz profile. And a very elegant texture. — 6 years ago
Enjoyed this 95 CF 5 CS blend from Saumur. Classic mineral backbone was present, just enough punch, but the best was its rounded and elegant texture that manifested on the palate. Not devoid of character, not sterile by any means, but just a classic Loire CF that decided to dress up for the evening and showed well. Clean, layered, downright drinkable — 7 years ago

Funky nose with hints of Jura-like oxidation, ripe pineapple, honey and orange blossom. Touch of sweetness up front and a long finish. — 10 years ago
Getting ahead with some research off to Saumur/Loire Vallée, this little Saumur Champigny punches above it's weight, up there with mid level burgundy, climate change has done well for Cab Francs, Pinot Noir from Loire Vallée. Well structured, light but with a bit of depth, berries galore, bio organic too! — 8 months ago
Aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of green apple, pear and lime citrus with notes of pepper and herb spice. Medium+ finish, chalky, vivid acidity and ends with mineral spice. Nice! — a year ago

I had to send a bottle out because it was floral. "But Madame, it is called Fleur de Whatever, you ordered it"
You are absolutely right, I'm guilty, but bring me a totally new one please. — 10 years ago
So good with 20 plus years of bottle age. — 10 months ago

Wow... this was outstanding. A floral bouquet + honeycomb + chalk left out in the rain... And I haven’t even got to the tingly, acidic grace note yet. A wonderful complement to grilled halibut with lemon and asparagus. — 6 years ago
Decent amount of funk on opening, which blew off after an hour. Bright fruit, mild tannins and a blast of herbs. Everything I want from a Cab Franc. — 8 years ago
Stupid good at this price. — 9 years ago
