Balanced smooth, delicate fruit and Earth tones — 7 years ago
Very dark purple-red in colour. The nose is clearly new-world with rich fruit compote and eucalyptus.
Medium bodied with medium + tannins and low acidity. Palate is more subdued than the nose with cassis, licorice and subtle spice and meat. Low alcohol feel.
Benefitted from airing considerably. Recommend a decanter and standing time. Would pair well with steak, burgers, oily fish and heavy pastas. Would be interesting with further age. — 8 years ago

Aromas of cocoa and cola. Velvety texture with a bright finish. Notes of ripened cherry, wild blueberry, and slight earthiness. Try the 2015 vintage now through the next 5 years! — 6 years ago
Still holding strong, but throwing sediment, blizzard like, still has good bright melon fruit. — 7 years ago
Back to Walla Walla. Always interesting, always good. This is one spicy beast. Great with our home made spicy Indonesian/Italian macaroni (...don't ask) it was great! — 7 years ago

The 2012 is all boom here is the dynamite, black abyss of black flowers inky inky black fruits, ripping tannins, going to have to pull it off coravin and let her breathe. Baller ass PV! — 9 years ago

F’ing A! Not that I have tasted every Carmenere produced in the USA, but if this isn’t in the top 5, I don’t know what is. Big as a cab, in flavor. White pepper, ripe plum, and blackberry notes dominate. Huge for this varietal, could easily age for several years. Yum! — 7 years ago
Awesome! One of the smoothest wines I've ever had. — 7 years ago
Still solid 2012 vintage, "slap & tickle" — 7 years ago

— 9 years ago

— 6 years ago
