Technically past drinking age for 2005 vintage but still remarkably smooth with blackberry and leather and nose body and aftertaste. Will probably last even longer. — 5 months ago
Aroma a anis y frutas intenso. En boca terroir, cuero, taninos vivos, Acidez mediana. Balanceado. No frutoso. Post gusto alto — 7 months ago
The 2020 Crianza is a 100% Tempranillo from Pesquera del Duero. Aged for 14 months in American oak barrels, it's garnet-red with a purple sheen. The nose offers strawberry, herb, undergrowth and oak aromas. Dry and taut on the palate with finely-grained tannins and a compact profile, this is a flavorful example of a Ribera red. 2011 was a warm vintage and the wine is bottled at 15.5% ABV. Inky color. Ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry fruit, with violet, minerality, smoke, clove and leather. Full bodied and juicy. — 7 months ago
The 2020 Crianza is 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from Ribera del Duero and was aged for 16 months, 75% in French oak casks and 25% in American oak. Garnet-red in hue. The nose features strawberry, plum, undergrowth, herbs, cedar and vanilla notes. The dry and ample palate shows mild tannins and a velvety oak texture that leads to a long-lasting finish. 100% old vine Tinto Fino (aka tempranillo) from, a tiny village in Ribero del Douro. Only 100 or so people live in the village and 85% of them work at the winery. Limestone soil and high desert climate makes for outstanding wine.
Red berries and minerality, slightly spicy notes. Medium body and I feel drinks way better than most Riojas — 8 months ago

2004 on July 2, 2016. A lot of black fruit on the nose. Has a lot of life left. This will smoothen out the next hour or 2. — 8 years ago

The 2019 Malleolus de Sanchomartín is a 100% Tempranillo parcel wine sourced from Emilio Moro's vineyards in Pesquera del Duero and was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Purple with a garnet sheen. The modest nose offers dark fruit notes with hints of wild herbs. On the palate, it's dry, rich and juicy, with a taut, chalky mouthfeel that leads into a compact, restrained finish underscored by traces of oak. (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, November 2023)

Amazing #vinako !! … Fresh and refreshing mid-weight Rivera del Duero. Gentle tannins. Expected low acidity and flavors of ripe strawberry fruit, herbs, leather, licorice, cocoa and tobacco but with complexity and a mineral smooth beautiful finish that one don’t expect in such a young wine… In my modest and humble opinion one of the BEST wine producers on the planet…. I am just looking at the bottle in disbelieve and thankfully thinking about however made this nectar of the Gods possible… Every HITO is exactly that : en event , a celebration, an accomplishment … What can I say … Thank you !! And keep it cming for years to come… — 3 years ago
