Another great value from Conn Creek. — 9 years ago
Raspberry and herbs. So so pretty! Soft, plummy, lots of character. Great structure. — 9 years ago
And our last bottle of the night, while watching BTTF2. I don't always drink Cab, but when I do, I prefer...light handed winemaking techniques and minimal new oak (only 40% here). — 10 years ago

105 out? I'll have the Rose please. — 10 years ago
The grapes for the 2013 vintage are sourced from Oakville, a change from previous vintages. This Chardonnay is bright yellow-gold in color and has a substantial mouthfeel and fresh acidity. Aromas and flavors of green apple, pear, and yellow citrus are layered and persistent throughout, intertwined with nuttiness and smokiness from time spent in 100% French oak. The finish is complex, long, and lingering. Kudos to winemaker Robert Hunt. — 10 years ago
One of Napa's great secrets. Always a touch of tropical and citrus; my faves have a bit of pink grapefruit. Acid all day long and yet balanced. A treat all year-round. — 11 years ago

One of the best, older, California cabs I've had. Still drinking great! — 9 years ago
Wonderful nose that gives you a great sense for this wines Bordeaux style. Surprisingly this bottle has held up in its old age. Smooth with mild fruit. Hints of blackberry and full of tar. Even some modest spice at the very end. Lovely. — 9 years ago
The grapes for the 2014 vintage of Sauvignon Blanc now hail from Oak Knoll, which in my opinion, adds to the depth of this wine. It exhibits layers of juicy tropical fruits, bright citrus, and melon, coupled with smokiness and a richer mouthfeel due to barrel fermentation and aging. The finish lingers for a while. This is a lovely fumé blanc style Sauvignon Blanc. — 10 years ago
I'm a bit biased having worked at Conn Creek, but there is no denying this is an elegant, concentrated, powerful example of Napa Cabernet from a mountain vineyard. Inky, earthy, with great typicity. Enough acid and tannin to keep this bottle going for several more years. — 11 years ago

Been waiting for a correction on this identification for a while. This is the 2012 Block Cuvée. — 8 years ago
