Super floral with a very prominent mint/basil first taste. Would pair well with some dark meat but I probably would not drink this again without food. — 10 years ago

Verdicchio dei castelli di Jesi DOC 2011, Classico Superiore, 13%. An excellent sample of what Verdicchio should look, and taste: the right balance of fruits and flowers aromas. Very satisfying! — 12 years ago
100% verdicchio, delicious white, high alcohol content — 5 years ago
Haven’t been surprised by a white in a long time. This one has a “zing” that my taste buds can’t resist. — 6 years ago
Medium bodied, pear tones, less dry/acidic than other Verdicchios I’ve had of late. I like it, but my better half gives it a thumbs down. — 7 years ago
Lees on the finish - delicious / lemon custard, marzipan, malic notes, vegetal notes — 7 years ago

Attractive but green. Promising! Soft oaked, hidden complexity. Pear, avocado and young soft cheese, fresh almonds. I'll leave the other bottlles alone for at least 3 yr. — 9 years ago

My favorite wine to date but that’s not saying much. I’m leaving room for better things but this is my type of wine. It’s so buttery. You can drink it all night and enjoy every sip every time. — 6 years ago

Deep purple and an amazing floral nose. tv14%, higher in alcohol than I’ve seen with Lacrima, but u can’t taste it. This wine is so unusual- no other grape that I know of ( my brother will correct me?) has a nose and taste like this. Tannins are there but in check. Went great with pappadelle and pancetta/ tomato sauce. — 5 years ago
