1986 vintage. At Comptoir de Cuisine in centre of Bordeaux. Recorked in 2011 at the Chateau. Medium garnet hue - some bricking. Medium concentration of dried black fruits, subtle cedar and graphite. Manure and earthy notes. Mature but very much alive. On the palate, medium acidity, medium body - silky and smooth, medium chalky tannins with some grip, medium alcohol and medium plus finish. Although the wine lacks some depth and complexity on the finish, it's delicious and easy to drink. Very good. Drink now until 2022+. — 8 years ago
