Nice finish to this Idaho red blend wine. Idaho wine typically sucks, but we are enjoying this with our spaghetti! Tasting room on Boise River is such a nice place to enjoy a glass with friends and an amazing view and the irresistible idaho mindset. — 8 years ago

This wine won double gold at the 2014 All Canadian Wine Awards, The 2013 has now been released and adds another layer of complexity with the addition of a small percentage of Petit Verdot. We hope you get a chance to try it sometime. Cheers, and thanks for your comments.

Savage Grace

Celilo Vineyard Chardonnay 2013

Love the expression of both terrior and fruit coming from the Celilo Vineyard. Neatly situated at the lip of the Columbia River in the cool Columbia Gorge where Washington and Oregon meet. Striking acidity that is approaching exuberant but holds itself well with the dominant ripe tropical fruit. Crisp and velvety with some subtle "malo". Neutral oak which is more perceivable near room temp still shows a great deal of restraint. Definitely one of the more fascinating Chards I've had in a long time and I can't wait to see what depth age brings to this wine. @Matt Austin — 10 years ago

Traditions Columbia Valley Merlot 2010

The 2008 Traditions Merlot features grapes from a number of our estate vineyards in Eastern Washington's Wahluke Slope. Established in 2006, the Wahluke Slope is a sub-region within the Columbia Valley appellation. Located midway between Seattle and Spokane it is bordered by the Columbia River to the southwest and Hanford Reach National Monument to the east. The climate here is warm enough during the day to fully ripen grapes, yet cool enough at night to ensure bright acids and firm tannins. The 2008 Traditions Merlot is elegant, balanced and approachable. The nose is bright and forward with cherries, berries and plums wrapped in crème brulée and brown sugar. The flavors are a seamless blend of fruit, oak and acidity. Blend: 78% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec & 1% Barbera. — 12 years ago
