Annual Christmas tradition of fried chicken and chass monty- in a non stellar year Philippe Colin really brings it strong with super creamy richness, great luscious fruit and acidity cutting cleanly through. Really great QPR (at the time) - wish I had more. — 7 years ago

Round and fruity (golden apples) with a lovely acidity. — 10 years ago
Killer! Walks a fine line of minerality and reduction while still balanced. Hazelnuts, toasty, Apple and citrus fruits. — 10 years ago
Bursting with minerals. Very fun — 12 years ago
Winner of a white burg lineup. Everything is there in balance: nose with citrus, a whiff of floral reduction, a touch of almond sling and grapefruit pith. Palate has vibrant acidity, mouthfeel and a bit of phenolics. Nothing is wow but everything is very good and in balance — 7 months ago
A rose sparkler. Prodigious medium course bubbles. A bit of funk on the nose. The palate features tart underripe strawberries, cranberries, grapefruit, white pepper, with a bit of gunpowder appearing late. Medium plus acid, medium alcohol, bone dry, medium finish. — 9 months ago

This wine is frankly perfect — 8 years ago
Almost on par with the st aubin. Some herbacios notes that are really complex compliment this wine while still being really silky and chalk full of minerality. — 9 years ago
Just yum - lemon curds, wet rocks, and juicy acidity wrapped in goodness. — 10 years ago
Nose has a little burnt firecracker action but the palate is completely on time. Lemon rind and almost like a cheesecake situation. Finish just goes and goes. Gives a nod to every single tastebud. If I could afford it, I'd drink these wines like they are the cure. — 10 years ago
Lee Pitofsky
The perfect white burg vintage! Love it particularly for PYCM. 2017 Caillerets is electric, so defined and expressive, wafting layers of matchstick, spice-tinged yellow fruit, hazelnuts and white flowers. The palate is chiseled, voluminous and concentrated with incredible purity, and a long chalky mineral inflicted finale. It’s still young, but in such a great spot! — 7 months ago
