Great!!! Expectacular! — 12 years ago
Alright, Alright, Alright! It is Friday night and the work week is over. Time for a nice wine that was a present from family. This 2011 Colaneri Allegria is made in what they call Appassimento style. It is a blend of Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Riesling. The winery has it listed at $18.95 and it is worth every penny. On the nose is a lovely bouquet of Grapefruit, peach, lemon zest, and minerality. The palate brings forth the Grapefruit in a big way with white peach, passion fruit, and pineapple. There is a smooth creamy mouth feel and medium + acidity. A very nice quaffable wine to drink anytime. — 10 years ago

Perfect maturation and balance within acidity and tannins. Full body and woody aromas at the right touch.
I'm a winemaker and usualy i don't like to give rates to colleagues, but this wine for me was a pice of paradise — 9 years ago
