Pale lemon color.
Aromas of lemon, some toast.
Dry. Flavors of lemon, toast, mineral. Very similar to Champagne. Very good.

I must have had an off day the last time i tried this, my palate has changed or the wine has evolved over the last year. Sadly, this is my last bottle. Regardless, this wine is absolutely superb. Heavy bodied, with big, royal tannin. Colour is dark velvet, almost black. On the nose, heavy notes of dark plum and leather. On the palate, it’s complex, ever evolving over many hours. Dark fruits, a medley of plums, dark cherry, blueberry and cassis. Perhaps even some fig. This is followed by dark chocolate/cocoa. The finish has notes of medium old leather. The tannin is initially quite chewy, but slowly evolves into an elegant soft concoction of plum/chocolate that lingers for much longer than expected.
