2012 Joseph Phelps Pinot Noir, Freestone Vineyards Sonoma Coast - can't wait for this spring 2014 release. — 12 years ago
I was delighted to find Maison Bleue's tasting room in downtown Walla Walla on my last visit, and even more surprised to taste the Domaine J. Meuret Les Chênes Pinot Noir 2013, the inaugural vintage of this label, all of which are single vineyard wines made by Jon Meuret. The quality is outstanding—expressing pie cherries, cranberries, morels and sweet leaf tobacco which fall well below perfumy rose petals and fragrant dried mint. It's weightless and light, with an understory of fine tannins lending structure to grace. — 9 years ago
Still has great life! Good job Brundrett — 10 years ago
Wow!! Chris Maybach and Thomas brown make some unreal wine! I would put Maybach up against the best from Napa. This is a wine that will blow you away. Huge fruit, but with extraordinary depth and balance and a finish that goes on and on! For a younger wine it is drinking so well! This is one to put on your bucket list! — 10 years ago
Fantastic! Juicy apricot, guava, any tropical yummy fruits that you can mention. Acidity is still there. Paired with spicy Thai papaya salad, went amazingly well together! — 11 years ago
Chris carpenter you wine wizard!!! — 12 years ago
full of sweet fullness. Persimmon, honeydew, nuts ... Aged but still clear and translucent.. Joyful as afternoon tea time. (More syrup and liquor like intensity) — 10 years ago

Chris Ringland does it again. My fourth vintage and it seems like it's getting better. This wine is SPOT ON DELICIOUS and only gets better with a little breathing time. Beautiful blueberry pie on the nose and palate. Vanilla and warm baking spices. Some deeper tones of baked blackberries also. Label says 15.5% alcohol but in no way does this seem hot. If you can find this, load up. The only problem is finding it... — 9 years ago
