Perfectly balanced. Subbed with hot smoked salmon, which otherwise is hard to pair with. I cannot remember a better white wine. $47. — 8 months ago
Well balanced flowery and citrusy. The after taste is minerally and caramaly and develops for a while. — 9 months ago
Pale lemon with scents of sweet citrus notes, underripe mango, pear, pineapple core and honeysuckle form the nose of this light white. The palate is round and a little heavy in feel at first, medium acidity, hints of citrus and honey lifts the wine to a medium finish with a mineral character. — 4 years ago

Honeydew and melon. Pineapple. Good acidity to counter sweetness. Off dry. Slight peach hint. Very complex flavor profile with floral aroma. Warm oily mouthfeel. — 11 years ago

Pretty remarkable. I’ve never been able to try an old one of these before, but I’ve always understood. They aged like champs and this thing was crazy. It tasted and looked like it could’ve been bottled last week. If you have any that have been well stored there’s absolutely no rush. — 7 months ago
Textbook Cabernet Frank drinking well eight years after harvest. 2017 vintage purchased in January 2024 $24. — 8 months ago
I tasted this same 2010 about a year ago and wondered it would improve with further aging. I think the answer is yes.
This time around it shows more layered profile, with bruised apple, honeysuckle, beeswax, citrus peel, and wet stone leading the nose. The palate is broad and textured. Acidity has shaved off some hard edges, yet remains focus and intense. Engaging long finish. — 8 months ago

14.5%. 🍎 apples, ripe, a big wine. Really well done yet over the top for me. Apple pie. A fantastic wine for asian food! I had a hard time with this one! On one side I was smitten and on the other side I was wondering what could this wine be with this quality grape material picked earlier and therefore less alcohol and more elegance? — 6 months ago
