Tropical notes enchant the nose with honeysuckled pineapple and light banana. Bright lemon and and warm pineapple rain across this vivacious palate. Fun acidity lingers long after the finish. Not my personal favorite Sauvignon Blanc but high quality and complexity — Very Good Shit nonetheless. And it releases in style from an intriguing softly square shaped bottle. — 7 years ago

2017 “GSC” Grenache blend with Syrah and Cinsault. Dry on the palatte. No distinctive aroma but very enjoyable by itself or with food.

The grapes were grown next to an apple orchard. Not sure if I’m crazy but it had a crisp golden delicious flavor. — 6 years ago

Had the VGS Chardonnay 2004 (11 years young!) next to 2013. They sure come from the same place. Great structure and great complexity. — 10 years ago

This is what wine should taste like. Smooth, sweet, mysterious black pepper bites in the night. Figs by the fire with my lover. Also would be smoother in 3-7 years. — 8 years ago
So what do you call a Bordeaux Blend from Napa - ""The Illegitimate"! This is a fun wine. Nicely blended with up front fruit and smooth / soft finish. Has character like a classic French wine with Napa twist. Pairs well with many foods - so versatile. — 9 years ago
Deep licorice with hints of supple rich dark berry. Drinking great now. — 10 years ago
2011 - a lighter cab franc with amazing balance. Not as heavy as usual cab franc... smooth and easy going. — 11 years ago
