Dark, glass staining color. Needed an hour to open up. Dark cherry, blackberry and lacy minerality line the nose. Almost chewy with broad tannins to start, which softens into a delicious blackberry pie finish. No significant excidence of oak. Drink with decant or hold for at least 5 more years. — 8 years ago
