Slight horse on the nose to begin with, with a shift towards bright fruit, and anise. Great length with well integrated tanins, low acidity and very mellow finish. Good stuff. — 9 years ago
Really enjoyed this. Everything I have got from Rezin at the SAQ has been good — 10 years ago
Awesome sauv blanc from a producer in Burgundy close to the Chablis border. This vineyard site has limestone soils that you can taste in this dry mineral driven wine. Bright acidity and lean body make it a great food wine and something that will be easy to enjoy all summer long. — 10 years ago
Great wine with good balance of acidity and Oak. Elegant and medium bodied with slight overtones of vanilla and lemon. Wonderful wine — 11 years ago
Good acid to challenge my elk tartar. Could use a little more body, but very nice for my pallet. — 12 years ago

A second Acker buy. CVed with first 3/25/20. Lighter and medium bodied wine that’s balanced and good pairing for lots of food. Got that stimulating texture of the Southern Rhône blend. Great buy! AA5. Opened 6/6/20 very fresh texture still with the lighter not so complex red berry notes that paired very well with Amah bone soup with highly watered down Kimchee. Relatively simple but still a good pairing wine. 70 Grenache 30 Syrah. — 6 years ago

Oily and beautiful. Not brimming with acidity that will shoot to the stars, but it's softer palate feel is welcomed and very pleasant to sip on. — 9 years ago
Nice peppery kick without any jammy sweetness. Great deal for the quality. — 10 years ago

Yes, Sauvignon Blanc in Burgundy! In fact, the St Bris appellation was previously called 'Sauvignon de Saint-Bris' (before 2003). And you can ONLY use SB or Sauv Gris fruit, + max 12.8% ABV. Love the terroir and plan to show it blind just to mess with my Sancerre obsessed friends. — 11 years ago

Bought at Nicolas rue de Saint Dominique. The most close I am looking for a full-time bodied wine, but not very complex — 7 years ago
Earthy, leather, bright raspberry with medium tannins. Very well balanced red. Can taste the oak a bit gives a bourbon carmelized taste — 9 years ago

Not bad for a random liquor store find! — 10 years ago
This is a silkier, more elegant vintage of the Chapelle, at least relative to the 2010, which was really in my zone, as well as the 2009, which I found over-the-top, but in both cases I think there was more stuffing there than here. This would've shown better if I'd opened it with white meat or even fish or something else where a lightweight presence and loose-knit structure is called for. It's an excellent wine in that idiom but lacks some of the solidity and grip it has offered in other years. It's not imbalanced at all, and the trademark stony mineral flavors are still here, it's just a slimmer version of its usual self. — 11 years ago
In its window. Super aromatic. Terrific and pure. — 11 years ago
Last bottle ever. Nutty, grassy, huge acid and wonderful purity. I love these wines. — 12 years ago
