Aromatic on its own with bright and deeper dark fruit and cocoa tobacco overtones. With food, the wine shows off perfectly balanced and rounded elegance. Real gen. — 9 years ago
Enjoying an yuzu and fun cocktail at Gen Yamamoto in Tokyo. With @Harmony Knutson — 10 years ago
Pretty purple! 16 months in 2nd and 3rd gen barrels. Still young and oaky tannic but wonderful mouth feel and smooth lasting finish. This is going to be amazing in a couple years! — 10 years ago
Crunchy red cherries and berry fruit, crushed violet. Tastes like mencia or gamay. Points for being fun. #NewArgentina — 10 years ago
Perhaps the best stately young Napa Cabernet I've ever tried from brothers and 3rd gen ToKalon vinetenders/winemakers @Graeme MacDonald & @Alex MacDonald. It's drinking napa history and future, and god damn is it brilliantly delicious. — 11 years ago

How cool is this????? Next Gen wines... — 13 years ago
Does not show like an '09. Is dope. The first import decision I made was to bring Serge's wines in. 4th gen grower, 40+ yr old vines on the cru stuff, organic, ambient ferments in concrete, mix of steel and old wood for elevage. Twizzlers, wet stones and blood. — 14 years ago
@Melanie Scheer another gen! — 9 years ago
Sampled at a party and enjoyed the crisp fruity flavor this Chardonnay provided. No lingering buttery or oaky flavor or mouth feel. Would certainly purchase a bottle — 9 years ago
A gen for the price. Depth, character and smooth. $6? Are you kidding me? — 10 years ago
Ridiculous. My favorite white right now. — 10 years ago
San Martinos Hill. Pretty and light smoky fire on the nose. Totally taken aback at first sip, big and softly tannic for such a young wine. Selection of 3 vineyards, 20% of grapes were overripe. One year in 500liter new Hungarian oak, giving it oaky feel. Owned by Benedictine monastery. Lovely wine! There is something very special about a wine that makes you stop the flight because there is no other wine you want to replace in your mouth. Dammit this is one seriously good wine. Nice showing of what younger gen winemakers are doing here. — 10 years ago
Whole lotta extra specialness in this bottle. Godfather of NorCal albariño @Michael Havens teams up with next gen vine savant @Morgan Twain-Peterson - result is why don't I drink this more often good old fashioned no fuss needed just tasty as all hell. Table wine kids, it's what's for dinner. — 10 years ago
The best "taste like wine" sake. — 12 years ago
Bevuto al rib room il 12 gen 2013 con il mio amore, il giorno dopo aver litigato💏 — 14 years ago
Clean, crisp. 0 oak in this gen. Pears, peaches, honey and the occasional flower fill the nose on this chard. Really great bouquet. Darker golden yellow color and soft elegant finish. This will go fabulous in and with the mussels and clams going on the grill soon! — 9 years ago
I plowed through a spicy sausage stuffed green pepper with this as a companion. Floral notes and an exotic sandlewood flavor. Finish was thin, but I'm not complaining — 9 years ago
I like it. — 10 years ago
Dazzling nose. Like standing in a cranberry bog surrounded by pine trees. Tart cherry, boysenberry. Really pure fruit, lot of lift, and Malbec provides a resounding clench of tannin. Fresh, fruity carbonic goodness. Outstanding — 10 years ago

I have never heard of this before (shout out to mixed packs from the Pinot shop!) but it's one of the best tassie pinots I have had. Smooth, luscious mouthfeel, and perhaps too drinkable. A gen! — 9 years ago
