Har en grön profil och behöver en del tid för att öppna upp sig. Mörka bär och markerad tanin. Känns oerhört mångbottnad och skulle nog behöva mer tid och luft (och år i källaren) än vad jag hade. — 6 years ago

Love it, best wine ever. — 6 years ago
Like others have said. This is one of the smoothest. — 6 years ago
Delicious. Lush body, mineral, slightly brine-y palate. Some floral notes as well, that I'm not deft enough to pin down. — 7 years ago
Some interesting VdT right here. A little sweet, a little funk, a lot of zip. — 7 years ago
A classic white rhone blend from BC! elderberry nose and a sharp finish. a touch of peach. Viognier clearly dominates. Quite a lot of minerality but off-dry. — 8 years ago
Very impressive. Even blind this was not that hard to pin down as Ygrec. Even though it's a dry wine with tons of sauv blanc grapefruit character there is an almost muscat-like echo of sweetness without actually being sweet that screams Sauternes, and none of the other dry Sauternes have the power and footprint of Yquem which is evident even here. Superb cleansing freshness despite its weight class. — 9 years ago
A delicious wine that should show even more in the next few years. With notes of kirsch and black currant, this soft, but complex wine is delicious. It has slight herbaceous undertones that round out the fruit forwardness. Probably one of the better Chat. Du Papes from this vintage. — 9 years ago
Retouche is a tribute to the "hermitaging" of wines in Bordeaux. Classic Cab Sauv characteristics accented and enhanced by Syrah. A fine example of a wine that is so much more because of blending.

Much more minerality than expected; fantastic balance I would have placed in a Meursault than Saint Aubin. — 6 years ago
Incredible. Densely layered fruit, earth, mineral, and savoury elements. A crescendo of evolution took place while we drank this. The nose had something only some of the best pinots have; a kind of magical aroma that is impossible to pin down, "like a dream you know you had but can't fully remember." Strong Eucalyptus on the nose, which stayed with the wine after 2 hours of decanting. Light tannins. Rose petals, dates and herbs. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Low acid, fruity, lush, full bodied and great with our steak — 9 years ago

With Fiona, Jacques, Gerard, JK and Jay enjoying '84 Le Pin. Perfect with scrambled egg and truffle. Wonderful combo! — 10 years ago
Pale golden yellow color with abundant pin prick bubbles and rich brioche, baked apple, floral, and a hint of butterscotch aromas. On the palate, it's medium-full bodied with rich mixed baked apples, ruby grapefruit flavors, wonderful acidity and minerality. Lingering finish. — 10 years ago
