Not the greatest of Bordeaux vintages (I remember a lot of rain!) but the great Chateaux made less and made it well. 21 years on, this wine has all the hallmarks of the greatest Clarets. Incredible concentration despite a moderate 12.5% alc. and incredible youth & fresh activist too. A rare joy. — 10 years ago
