Barolo Nebbiolo

Mmmm this was very good. Good fruit concentration with an aroma right down my alley - dry fruit, smokey, earthy, earl grey and a little nutmeg. Full body, high tannins and a long finish, of course, for a Nebb ;) — 8 years ago

Special Selection Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

While it is a great bottle of wine, the 2013 does not compare to the 2012. Bold fruit, tampered down by some proper tannins. And then there is that wonderful velvety Rutherford dust on the long finish. — 9 years ago

Silver Oak

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

This 2008 was cellared for almost five years after purchased in 2012. Consumed Nov 2015, the best way to describe this delight is that "it melts in your mouth". You do not even feel it as it goes down, the taste begins with its scents as soon as it hits your palate. Delightfully fruity with cherry, blackberry and jam. — 10 years ago

Larkmead Vineyards

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Dense red currant is ‘wrassled’ down by fennel aromas, mint and black cherry with strawberry and blackberry hidden beneath its thick canopy of fern and forrest; including moss and mushroom. Actually amazing! Not going to ever guess that this herbaceous monster with rim to rim colt density is an 11 yr old Calistoga! Meaty notes of grill and marinated fungi. Celeriac root, fennel and licorice notes define this angel with a minty coolness persisting! Blackberry and black cherry emerge in the finale to shine like young wine despite the years!#Larkmead #2007cab #Calistoga #Napa #napacab — 8 years ago

Brut Champagne Blend 1978

Both me and the girl enter our 40th year in 2018, so we are celebrating a couple of days early with the oldest champagne we've ever had. Special is an understatement. Tastes like I'm butt naked, face down in a seafood tower on the top of the Empire State Building, waiting on a helicopter to come take us to Waffle House to sober up before we get in a Ferrari to see a 35mm print of E.T. Endless thanks to @Christian Moses for this bottle. Will remember it for a long time to come. ❤🥂 Happy New Years Friends — 8 years ago

First time with the oddball '03 vintage. Lacking some of the standout aromatics of typical Tondonia. I wouldn't mind laying one down and see where it goes, seeing as Lopez wines defy logic, time, and space. — 9 years ago

Yes there do seem to be bubbles in it. I got fresh citrus, quince (easily confused with soap) and hints of brioche on the finish.
