First thing I notice is the golden color. Very floral, white flowers, can smell the green stem of a flower. Smells very hot, with mineral/shell/slate. Also smells sweet, honey suckle, and butterscotch. Must be oaked at least slightly. Tastes hot, high acidity, citrus notes/grapefruit. Very juicy as well, in guava, pineapple, tropical fruits for sure, and green grapes. Also low mouth feel, aka thin, but it is refreshing. I've never tried either of these grapes and really enjoy it. A terrific white based on a local Swiss grape, this wine has a nice floral nose reminiscent of a friulano, but with a bit more tropical notes. Excellent acidity, medium bodied, and a balanced, clean finish. Really enjoyable wine!
