Really enjoyable chameleon of a wine with dark color from the Malbec, structure from the Cab Franc, and a distinct flavor from the Pineau d'Aunis — 13 years ago
It's the ultimate food wine. Goes with everything. But at the same time, it is too much the chameleon. If it was to be drunk by itself, there isn't a dominant note to define the wine. — 12 years ago
Enjoyed it alot — 12 years ago
Chameleon wine. Started out with bright black cherry, grape bubble gum, black pepper juniper. Opened up to eucalyptus, thyme, cedar and vanilla bean notes. Tannins mellowed throughout. Silky mouthfeel throughout. — 11 years ago
Utterly blown over by this stunning wine. A real chameleon in the glass evolving continually over the course of a few hours. Ripe cherries chocolate and cinnamon leather tobacco but fresh. Lovely silky soft integrated tannins. Lacked a bit of the concentration you'd expect from Amarone. I guess that's why he released it as a table wine. I can't wait to try the Amarone someday — 12 years ago
Cinnamon, tannin, spicy and beautifully mercurial. Who knew it could go with everything? A beautiful Chameleon — 12 years ago

This one is a bit of a chameleon. Keeps changing the longer it sits. Wonderful after some breathing time. Cherry, anise, little bit of earth. Deep, round, velvety. — 11 years ago
