Lunch in Auxerre with Jean Christophe Bersan, producer of characteristic St. Bris (the only Sauvignon Blanc appelation in Burgundy). This cuvée shows itself beautiful today. You guys know I think Manfred Krankl walks on water, but these Christophe Baron wines, Cayuse, No Girls, Horsepower, are absolutely spectacular. Similar to Clos Saint Jean and Philippe Cambie, these wines are stunners. Give me SQN and Baron's wines, and I'm happy. — 10 years ago
