Very nice with cheese — 7 years ago
Incredibly dense nose. Toasty and intense fruit. Really lush dark blue and red berry with a deep undertow of savory, forestry notes- almost new world in mouthfeel. Very pure and powerful. A tour de force. What fruit!... deep and long — 7 years ago

My least favorite of the 5 on the Ice Wine Tour, but still very good — 10 years ago
2007. Mistaken for a Tempranillo at opening. Juicy n chewy, bit spicy is typical for a new merlot, has structure. I do think right bank n margaux 07 r a bargain. Drink. — 11 years ago
Delicious, flavorful wine from Marco's favorite French winery — 12 years ago
Tour d’Argent. Tawny, heavy color in the glass. The Somm smiles. I smile. The room smiles. This is killer juice that opens with a fragrant bouquet of ripe bing cherries, earthly spice, some sois bois, and some Asian spice. I’ve had this wine probably 10+ times and this is easily the best of them. Silky smooth. The nose is sexual. Killer juice. Worth the price. — 6 years ago
This wine was excellent !! It paired well with many dishes and was fantastic on its own. — 7 years ago
Tomatoes, leather and black pepper... lots of acid. A good Chianti, I was a little early opening... Part of the September Grand Tour Wine Club from Verve Wine. — 8 years ago
Very smooth — 8 years ago
This was the 3rd wine we tried from a small grower Champagne producer in Cremant. Sadly the first 2 didn't even have labels they were so fresh from the cellar. Amazing toasted and nut qualities to this one. Definitely am already wishing I bought more. Very nice of the owner to give us such a wonderful tour and tasting. — 9 years ago
Delicious Grand Bordeaux!! — 9 years ago
2007 vintage. Vieilles Vignes. Medium brick garnet hue. Herbal, white flower, white pepper, earthy and forest floor. Very attractive nose. On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length. Ready to drink now as I think the fruit is starting to dry out. — 10 years ago
Elegant and smooth let tour. Quite beautiful and youthful. Beguiling aromatics. Gone too fast, and would've loved to see where it would have been in a few more hours — 10 years ago
Special bottling from Chateau La Tour Carnet for its 2005 Vintage, dark purple burgundy in color, smell of red fruit, plum, and raspberry. Decanted for two hours before pouring, taste of sour cherry and black berry. Still taste lots of fruit, fine tannin with smooth finish, full body with a medium to long finish. — 12 years ago

Color : Red
Wine estate : Château Latour-Martillac
Designation : Pessac-Léognan
Name : Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé
Country : France
Vivino : 4/5
Note : A purple dress, a floral and fruity nose on hints of prunes. A woody touch on the palate with long, organized and precise tannins. Being very dry, we feel correctly the complexity proposed and allows us a pleasant tasting.

Une robe violet, un nez floral et fruités sur des touches de pruneaux. Une touche boisée en bouche avec des tannins long, organisé et précis. Étant très sec, on sent correctement la complexité proposé et nous permet une dégustation agréable. — 7 years ago
I had a bottle of this wine a while ago and it was spectacular: 94pts. The second, which I drank a few weeks ago, was very good, but not as good as the first one, but still pretty decent: 90 pts. On average 92. A fine claret by the owners of Cheval Blanc. — 8 years ago
Tasted at the end of the Taittinger cellar tour - incredible! The extended lees aging really comes through on the pallet, rich and a little buttery. Also sees 5% oak aging for two weeks — 8 years ago

Wow. Broad, very minerally, much more elegance. Excellent balance, breed, character. One of the stars of Jura. Long length. Like a Grand Cru Chablis/Montrachet cross with a nutty Jura twist. Awesome. — 10 years ago

Oak and spice aromas. Lots of oak. Darker red fruit and some black, lots of oak spice on the palate. Way too young right now. — 6 years ago
