Almost jarring the contrast, coming to this after the Rouget - so much structure and scaffolding in this one, fortunately without being foursquare. Nice contrast of blue and black berry fruit in here. With its muscle, it feels more Morey than Chambolle - this would be at home next to a Clos de la Roche, for example. — 9 years ago

Nice follow up after Emmanuel Rougets Vosne Romanee 2009. This one really threw many of us off. Perhaps it was because the person who brought it slow-oxed it since morning. Anyway here goes... Very beautiful, floral, charming. Rousseau like. More fresh than the Rouget. Developing herbal notes towards the end. Guessed Mugneret Gibourg. Shocked everyone. — 7 years ago

I would have called this one a 2009 vosne romanee ac from a high quality grower if tasted blind. — 12 years ago
Classic Bordeaux nose. Oak and tart fruit with mineral undertones. Well balanced tannins and acid in a dry finish. — 8 years ago
Orange though very light on skin tannins etc. Ideal match for rouget. — 9 years ago
