So cool to taste this he day after I had 1989 franc mayne. This Magdelaine is a baby. Delicious but barely showing its potential. Very similar in style to the franc mayne, with maybe more oak. — 9 years ago
Great balance, umi, white pepper, violets, chewy, black tea, graphite — 9 years ago
A good aperitif of dinner... — 9 years ago
Our favourite rose. Delicate light fruity flavours, dry and well balanced. We have been drinking this wine over a number of years and it is consistant; always a pleasure. — 10 years ago

Right in my wheelhouse. Fairly big fruits of dark cherry and plum. Decanted for over 3 hours which really opened up well. Firm, well structured tannins and very full, round mouth feel that has longevity on the back of the tongue. — 10 years ago
Very nice scents of fruit. Specifically peaches, lychee, white grapes, and pear.
Had a nice bright, brisk and slightly acid taste. — 11 years ago

4th of July red wine. Lovely fruit. Sunshine in a bottle. — 10 years ago
Not as thick feeling as other Sauternes I've had so I like it better. Characteristic honey flavors, the ending is a bit weird and minerally / barrelly... Flavors of hard water? — 10 years ago
2007. Mistaken for a Tempranillo at opening. Juicy n chewy, bit spicy is typical for a new merlot, has structure. I do think right bank n margaux 07 r a bargain. Drink. — 11 years ago
