Simple and savory, light in body but meaty in flavor. Easy to drink, would go well with most foods! — 7 years ago
Deep red cherry with earthy finish. Classic Loire/cab franc. Excellent on opening. — 8 years ago
Light ruby color with some purple and brown mixed tone. Just a tiny hazy and essentially clear. Nose of sour cherries, berries like raspberries, and a bit cedar. Taste of refreshing acidic raspberry, sour cherries , spice like sage/clove, cola, and some roasted peppers note. Light but balanced. Aftertaste is a bit weak, dominated by the spice note, roasted pepper, a bit cola, and hickory note. Quite an interesting Bordeaux. — 8 years ago
Smells a little like cotton candy and exhibits notes of cedar, clove, prune, cherry, red rose, eucalyptus with perceivable mint-traits. In another dimension this may be a cousin of Heitz's Martha's Vineyard. Awesome to have with bbq'd steak, garlic bread and knowing this is the only winery for this AVA ( just 20 miles south of where I got to imbibe this 400 case production of local goodness. ) — 9 years ago

Oh mygosh on a scale of one to pastille heaven I might rate this as an eight point nine plus, a few bonus unofficial point stops in a swamp of bramble and raspberry bush. A ripe swamp.,Love it. It could be I am a gamay nut but I dug this heartily. If I were eating steak? Oh no. Not even with a soy sauce-braised tempeh extravaganza. But for sipping, with a pal, with-let me recommend---a nice soft pretzel (welcome to my heavenly LA life) and YAS. That's the stuff — 8 years ago

Still young but very drinkable Meursault @ £53 that’s one of my favourites at this price point 😉 If you like it more tart/sour now is great but leave 5yrs if you want it to ease 👍

Oh hell controversial but these days I'm digging Bordeaux whites over Sancerre---gasp! Whose savvy b wins?! This has all the grapefruit, the lemon, the Meyer lemon going STRONG! And then a hint of stones (maybe not as much as a Loire wine). But also the body you get into from the Semillon. Light in color. It FEELS light on the palate but it tastes complex and interesting. I'm surmising the Semillon fortifies the body. I dunno. I'm into the Graves blancs. They have the things I want in a Sancerre to be sure. I mean I've not compared side by side especially with price factoring in. All I have to say is this is a "please do it". You will get a boatload of citrus and mineral plus some waxy body so it will go with your full bodied artichoke and/or..whatever you need a super-acidic but full bodied white to go with...anyway I say hop in. Puh-lease. — 8 years ago

A nice white burgundy and great value for the price. Somewhat between Chablis and Puligny stylistically, in a nice way. — 5 years ago
