Very impressive. Even blind this was not that hard to pin down as Ygrec. Even though it's a dry wine with tons of sauv blanc grapefruit character there is an almost muscat-like echo of sweetness without actually being sweet that screams Sauternes, and none of the other dry Sauternes have the power and footprint of Yquem which is evident even here. Superb cleansing freshness despite its weight class. — 9 years ago

Incredible. Densely layered fruit, earth, mineral, and savoury elements. A crescendo of evolution took place while we drank this.
