This is the "Eleve en futs de Chene" cuvée, mature Syrah aromas, minor oak aromas, the oak smoothes out the palate, still quite rich and full-bodied, long finish, really an excellent older Languedoc, kudos to Jeffrey Davies for this one!! — 9 years ago
Different nose from le Chene. Floral. More rounded on palate nicely balanced. Long complex finish. Good value. JL tasting. — 10 years ago

NV. Base wine 2007. Fut de Chene. At Texture. One step below the Argonne from this producer. Ay based producer known for Pinot Noir dominant wines. Lovely nose - rich deep golden hue (indicative of new oak / oxidation maturation), lots of rich creamy oak notes. Oxidative style. On the palate, very rich - maybe too rich - round and slightly fat. Apricot, butterscotch and nuts. Decent length. Not bad at all if you are a fan of the style. — 10 years ago
NV blanc de blanc ... Such an elegant champagne, bright creamy and perfect mousse — 10 years ago
Described as a oxidized wine, and it definitely was. But had nice tart & dried fruit. — 11 years ago
Lovely strawberry nose and gentle flavours of the same - soft and fruity, right up my street😎🍷😎 — 11 years ago
Un peu fut de chene nais tres bon — 13 years ago
A pale, almost translucent yellow; much more rounder than I expected but phenomenal balance of acidity and fruit. Some interesting herbs with a touch of vanilla here; need to get some more! — 8 years ago
One pointless point than last time. This is the greatest Syrah made in Italy. Hands down. — 9 years ago
17.5. 2015 Pont des Arts (Chene Bleue) rose. Doesn't come any better (rose, that is). Much more character than most. Yes, the label is hard to catch in a photo, but very pretty! — 9 years ago

100% Syrah. #vinsurvingt is killing in with the #wine — 10 years ago
What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia! Wish this app would let you add a time stamp on here, since I had this back in May. — 10 years ago
Dutch bottling of Corbieres, eleve en futs de chene in Roermond. The wine did not struck me as special before, but at this moment: wow! The wine trancends its qualification: beautiful smell with cherries, cedar and liquorice. Full bodied And also velvety. Rich wine. — 11 years ago

Strong stuff this, and the baby Chene Bleu. Mostly Grenache, some Syrah. With that well-balanced sense of oak, a bit of Cola on the palate as well. Fairly hot, 14.5%. But good — 10 years ago

The bouquet on the 2016 Lucien Crochet Sancerre Le Chene Marchand showed a beautiful mix of young mango with wet stone, chalk dust, lime zest and hints of dried savory herbs. On the palate, I found rich weighty textures which were perfectly offset by zesty acidity and spice as a cascade of minerals, green apple, with hints of honey, lime and inner floral tones coated the senses. The finish was long as slightly oily textures slowly faded from the palate, leaving a coating of green citrus, with minerals and residual mouthwatering acidity. It's amazing now but I know this will only get better with a few years in the cellar. — 8 years ago
