This is a 100 % organic Syrah grown on decomposed granite hillsides in Saint Joseph, displaying violet, ripe black fruits with hint of dried blueberry, black pepper and vanilla. Slightly musky, dusty, med plus body with great acidity and med plus tannin. A wonderful Saint Joseph has depth, structure, and fruitiness. — 6 years ago
God, this is a great wine. — 7 years ago
I had a bottle of this wine a while ago and it was spectacular: 94pts. The second, which I drank a few weeks ago, was very good, but not as good as the first one, but still pretty decent: 90 pts. On average 92. A fine claret by the owners of Cheval Blanc. — 8 years ago

Smooth with awesome fruit produced by the oldest petite Syrah vineyard-hint of spice with smooth fruit. Tried on wine tour at Davis Fulton with Platypus Wine Tours — 11 years ago

150m / red clay, wow aromatics, raspberry. Pepper. — 7 years ago
The wine needs 5 years in a cold cellar. Like my new favorite tight end Martellus Bennett--huge but graceful. Go Pats revenge tour! — 9 years ago
Full of rich juicy cherries and currants with hint of vanilla. Very modern in style with soft tannin. Super approachable Bordeaux wine. — 9 years ago

Enjoyed this light, smooth, Merlot-Cabernet Bordeaux. — 12 years ago
Mmm. Currants, raisons, dates, leather, and some bretty barnyard funk. Nice.
Lots of currants and dried dark fruit up front, but balanced with fairly bright acidity and leathery, earthy tannins. Spice notes also linger.
Delicious albeit rustic wine, especially with food. Tannin quality suggests that this still has a good bit of time ahead of it. — 6 years ago
A great one — 6 years ago
Wonderful wine paired with the chef’s tasting menu tonight in Breda Netherlands. A very solid French Bordeaux - dry, abrupt finish. Great way to kick off the EU travel tour. — 7 years ago
Très bon avec un Saint Marcellin de la mère Richard. Mais lequel des 2 sublime l'autre ? — 8 years ago

Viognier-100% ? Somm exam tour through Gaul. One more on the plus side. Peaches and moderate acid. Rhone- definitely on the bucket list. — 9 years ago
Leather, cured meat, some fruit on the nose. Dark fruit, black currant, minerality, pepper, musk, well structured leathery tannins, medium finish. — 11 years ago
Very complex yet still very drinkable. Absolutely love. — 11 years ago
