Dry rose, almost neon pink colour with pretty clementine (?) nose. Nice thick mouthfeel with juicy taste of raspberry and oranges that has just the right amount of acidity. Clearly benefitted from a good vintage but comes recommended and is good value. — 10 years ago

1966 Lucien Benaros Gevrey Chambertin Burgundy. Drank this at Lucques w K. Interesting. We liked this very much and K was surprised at how good it was. Earthy, musty, but balanced. — 10 years ago

I have no idea how I made the perfect sandwich for this wine, but I did. Sweet batard, sheep's milk ricotta, sprouted broccoli with lemon, prosciutto. Inspired by lunch last week at the Fatted Calf. Yum. Lets not fail to mention that Pax's second label wine is delicious, true to his style and quaffable. Approved. — 13 years ago
