At the vineyard for a tasting with Kathleen, Jay and Josie Barton, Jenny Rhodes. A bit less tannin than the 2020. Bolder than the estate Pinot Noir. — 2 years ago

Grenache, cinsault, Syrah I was drinking red but opened this to cool down the seared tuna I made with crusted peppercorns. Paired nicely. Crisp, dry, refreshing. Enjoyed. Will bring rest of bottle to the beach this weekend. I bought this several weeks ago as a buy one get one free at Publix. Very good buy. Would buy again not on sale. — 5 years ago

2020 vintage. A single 20 hectares vineyard within the Léoville-Poyferré estate. The name was used for the second wine Léoville-Poyferré, but it became a Saint-Julien in its own right in 2009. The 20 hectares vineyard is planted with an unusually high percentage of Petit Verdot. This 2020 is a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, and 23% Petit Verdot. — 8 months ago
