Excellent 2009 bordeaux — 10 years ago
A pale clear straw, the '13 Saint Clair Sauvignon Blanc, is another classic NZ-style SB. Big gooseberry and grapefruit aromas followed by tart citrus and pear flavors with some salty mineral notes. Velvety textured mouth with prolonged finish. Paired perfectly with our Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pasta entrée. — 11 years ago
Gorgeous creamy and lovely. Drunk at Randall&Aubin — 11 years ago
Great ripe fruit and and green pepper earthiness. Evident but not overpowering tannins giveaway to a dusty finish. — 11 years ago
Loved it! Not typical grapefruit flavor but very bright! — 12 years ago
Big WOW! I tasted this wine in September 2018 at the event held by the French embassy at Central World in Bangkok, Thailand; the wine did not impress my tounge at all. However, I bought 2 bottles because a friend of mine imported it. Today (Jan 18, 2019), the wine tasted very delucious after 30 minutes of breathing. Very flavorfull of cherry, blackberry, plum, and tobacco together with soft tannins and silky & reasonable length on the finish. The color is intense but bright ruby red color with medium-to-full-weight which is goes well with medium & sexy acidity. Very good value, excellent balanced, and savory wine to pair well with medium spicy Thai dishes. — 6 years ago
Not bad. A little lite on the palate with firm tannins — 8 years ago
In an attempt to "hang" with my wine distributor friend tonight, I ventured out of my comfort zone with this syrah grenache blend and was pleasantly surprised. RP-kissed this one for a reason - big and bold - aromatic - a very good value drinkable. Paired nicely with my salmon and spinach salad. By day, I seek value in the bond market to pass along to my customers, so this got me thinking: what is/are the best value wine(s) you're drinking right now?? #sharethelove — 9 years ago
Excellent NZ Chardonnay for such a young wine (2014). Oaky, stone and hazelnut flavours, ripe fruit. Had with Japanese food which was a pleasant conbo. — 10 years ago
Deliciously fruity, but dry white that lingers on on your plate and perfectly accompanies lobster and dairylea. — 10 years ago
Nice light (both in colour and body) Pinot noir with low tannins and high acidity. Cherry flavoured with a hint of vanilla. Very drinkable. — 11 years ago
Buttery and delicious - had this with my roasted chicken & potatoes & asparagus & lemon recipe. — 11 years ago
Iron, cedar, cherry, spice, baby bit of brett on nose. Palate is similar in a lean style. Absolutely delicious. — 12 years ago
Excellent white. Bright and peach-y, without the dullness, cloying texture and alc that can mar Rhône-style blends. Great value at €13 — 7 years ago
Nice wine for casual evening — 8 years ago
So easy, so elegant. — 9 years ago
Really surprising after 12 years. Excellent — 10 years ago
Pale straw colour with hints of green apple. A bouquet of tropical fruits with some herbaceousness and again that green apple edge. Juicy lemon, melon and grapefruit flavours with a light mineral edge and perhaps some dry herbs on the finish. Not overly acidic and although initially quite concentrated it opened up quite quickly. Worth noting that the vineyard's tasting notes advise drinking it within the first 2 years of release. Overall a good value, if atypical, Marlborough (which we found in Costco) though alas not at all to my wife's taste! — 10 years ago
Fantastic. Not your average Otago Pinot, but they turned consistently good into great. Light & bouncing with flavour. — 10 years ago
This is a fabulous wine — 11 years ago
