Wonderful nose that gives you a great sense for this wines Bordeaux style. Surprisingly this bottle has held up in its old age. Smooth with mild fruit. Hints of blackberry and full of tar. Even some modest spice at the very end. Lovely. — 9 years ago
A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot, aged in French oak 65% new and 35% 1 year old, fruit sourced from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit, earthy and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and tart cherry flavors, with vanilla, licorice, citrus and herb spice. Fine tannins, well balanced long finish ending with tart fruit and a sweet earthy mineral character. Nice! A Fav! — 7 months ago
2010. Tasting with the 2014 Hartwell. This one is more herbaceous. Minerally backbone. Flavor is more complex but not as smooth and round. 9.2+ — 5 years ago
Really opened up with 2 hours of breathing. Nice, full bodied, long finishing well rounded wine. — 10 years ago
Pours deep rich red. Initial mild dark fruit quickly changes to a quick burst of baking spices and cherries and then changes to a dryness of plums. Some soft tannins on the back. Love the changing layers. — 9 months ago

Vanilla ice cream (not French vanilla) with cherry compote vibes. Rich body thanks to the petit verdot. Quite a delight for our 6th anniversary dinner! — 7 months ago
