2013 vintage: easily the best wine I've seen so far from this producer, with the oak dialled back to a far more appropriate and integrated level. Bright medium deep Crimson ; lifted red fruit aromas, xlnt volume, and w nice cut. Lively attack, plush ripe fruit, soft centred mid palate, reasonably long, flavoursome finish. Very attractive. — 10 years ago

Lovely balance between ripe fruit flavours and the more complex savory components. Juicy acidity, nice weight , fine tannins and medium finish. — 11 years ago
This is splendid for a Nova Scotia wine. — 12 years ago
It's inevitable to be indulged in class and sophistication when presented from a superior being. Long ago, while traveling in le Midi near Corsica I ran into a young gentleman who requested that I appear in the film Lacombe Lucien. I declined, neglecting my intuitions, I continued onward through my decades of life only to be bestowed living in a wooden cottage with my deaf hound. Life is a series of fascinating experiences only to be rejected. — 13 years ago

Ripe plum, lightest hint of white pepper, floral aromatics. Made with Abel, 5, 667 and 777 clones. The tannins are very refined but and not very present initially but hang in a pleasantly ling lingering experience. This wine is ready for sure but may have another interesting 5 years ahead of it. — 10 years ago

Best wine yet ...also most expensive. Almost perfect. Just enough fruit, just enough body, just enough smoothness, all combining for nearly perfect vino. Recommended by "Buca Mario's" Wine Ferry (jolly chubby guy that looks like the guy on the bottle w/o a beard)! — 12 years ago
