I wasn't a fan of this on night one. It was slightly reduced and had a muddled, confused midpalate, no nose to speak of, and tasted like a paltry poulsard. But, showing again that even entry level Etna rossos need a bit of time, on night two this has blossomed into beautiful typicity. Red fruit warmed in old balsamic vinegar, mountain herbs, and gritty tannins. — 10 years ago
Overall very nice wine with a reasonable price tag. Pleasing to any fan of red wine with balanced earthy qualities and medium dryness without being too fruity. — 10 years ago
I'm going to come clean, I'm not a huge Caymus fan. It's by no means a bad wine - far from it - but I've always felt they blend their Cab with too much Zin. I could be wrong on that account, but I don't think I am. Still, a nice brooding nose of dark red and blue fruit, with a touch of candied fruit and wet earth. — 10 years ago

Wow! Drinking surprisingly well. Had the 1991 the same night and was not a fan at all. — 12 years ago
I'm not a big fan of dessert wines but this one is an exception. Try it with spicy food or mix with vodka and a squeeze if line! — 13 years ago
Not a rose fan but I like this one. Tart up front but then a smooth finish. Pretty color. Perfect warm weather lunch wine. — 10 years ago
This was the first Caymus I ever tried, and definitely not the last! Absolutely loved this Napa Cabernet Sauvignon! Lush aromas of dark fruit, flavors of cassis and berry cover the tongue as the silky tannins add to this full-bodied, rich and well balanced wine. The 40th was bursting with layers of flavors ..I'm a fan of this lovely wine. — 10 years ago
Fancy dry fizz. — 10 years ago
Very nice with a lite dryness..my wife liked it and she's a Reisling fan...white grape to nose..little peach and grapefruit to mouth... Had with Swordfish/Shrimp and went really well with the Spinach and mandarin salad — 10 years ago
One of my faves. Big fan of red blends. — 11 years ago
I am not a fan of Pinot Noir but this one is delicious. Almost as bold and big as my favorite Washington reds. — 12 years ago
Not usually a fan of Chardonnay, but this was good. — 12 years ago
Big fan of sav blancs and this one is just tart enough. I dig it. Would drink again. — 10 years ago
Not a chard fan myself, but when it is crisp like this and not too much citrus like a Sauvignon Blanc, then I like it. — 10 years ago

I'm always a big fan of Sauvy B's and Marlborough hits the spot in terms of taste and price. It's light, refreshing and crisp. Currently drinking this at the W San Diego for my birthday trip! — 10 years ago
Oaky and buttery without being heavy. Very smooth mouthfeel with a pop of acidity. Big fan. — 12 years ago

I'm a big fan of Sobon Estate Zinfandels because of their luscious fruit forward character. This is just as good. Main fruit I pick up is cherry. Love it! — 9 years ago
