Tried again 10/22/15. Still showing a reductive side, but with an hour of air there's a brilliant, floral wine. Just needs more time.

Beautifully plush, juicy, with ripe red fruits indicative of this Merlot-dominant blend, and that wonderful vegetal quality of well ripened and integrated Cabernet Franc. Aged only 15 months in one year old barrels previously used for first wine Angelus. Plums, cassis, tomato leaf, capsicum, white pepper, graphite. Fruit-driven, yet well structured.
