Very different style than nearly anything else coming out of Loire or all of France. There is a darkness and depth to the fruit with an almost volitile acidity that shares more in common with italian wines than Burgundy. Cinnamon spice shows through on this heavier, interesting pinot. 2013 Vintage. — 11 years ago
