Fantastic cherry flavors, excellent minerality, great lasting finish — 7 years ago
This is a huge wow. Outclasses the Fleurie Moriers from the other day by a mile. Tastes like someone managed to squeeze juice out of solid granite and blend it with equal parts gamay. Off-the-charts rockiness here puts it almost in STGT territory. Has plenty of structure as MaV should, but it's more refined in texture than the Fleurie and perfectly balanced with the fruit (and no wood flavors detectable on this one). The proportions here are like the golden mean - this is really well-composed. — 9 years ago

Nice spice and rich, but still on the light side. Drank it with Moroccan food and it was excellent — 12 years ago
Pale ruby. Nose: medium intensity, fresh and crisp red fruit (cranberry, raspberry), pungent spice (pepper), herbaceous (leafy, green pepper). Slight toast, hint of clove (possibly older oak barrels). No tertiary. Palate: dry, med + acidity, med - body, med alcohol, med - tannin. Med + finish. — 5 years ago
Well-structured with raspberry and granite. Exactly what a young Moulin a Vent should be. This will age well. — 9 years ago
Pure granite, nice red fruit, moderate tannins and nice acid. — 10 years ago
Pulled from the Drink Now box in the cellar. Held up beautifully, still aromatic and drinking well! — 10 years ago
